Dale Cooper and Melanie Daniels (in Hitchcock’s The Birds) investigating the mynah bird.
Melanie’s question - And he’ll talk? - is also Cooper’s question. Although we never meet the mynah in The Birds, the Twin Peaks mynah does in fact talk, cast in the role of witness. The mynah names names and expresses fear - but once removed, of course. Laura, Laura. Leo no, Leo no. Don’t go there, don’t go there.
On a side note: the “Well yes, of course” women are not the same actresses but the way in which they say these words (intonation, stress, etc) is nearly identical.

I am working on starting a David Lynch forum, or at least working on it to see if it’s possible or easy to do. Anyone have any experience making forums? Would anyone want to join if i made one?
